you just need to add another Automation that turns on Bluetooth instead of opening the app. It’s so simple.

But, I had long wished that Chargie would connect automatically.

So, I finally tried creating this automation. It was surprisingly easy and fast—not complicated at all. And it worked the first time! Impressive!

Thanks. I hope this script will be added to the Shortcuts library so that others (including first time buyers) will add it immediately. It makes Chargie even more effective.
